Basically, the Motoz Mountain Hybrid tire will climb like a tire used in trial competition and will also run perfectly at low inflation pressures. The special flexible tread and lock system provides excellent grip while being less prone to punctures. Still, the special tread block design provides a firm feel which is similar to what a good off-road tire offers when crossing creeks, sand or gravel sectors.
Even more, Motoz says that the cornering feel is also consistent thanks to the side blocks which add extra traction when the bike leans into a turn. The side walls are structurally much stronger and less flexible than those of a normal trial tire, and this also helps maneuverability in mountain riding scenarios which require a lower pressure.
If you’re torn between pure trial and motocross/enduro tires you could definitely give the Mountain Hybrid a try. And the fact that they are reversible also helps rider get a better mileage from these tires.
